NJ Real Estate Licensing require-

ments:

18 years of age;

have a

high school education or

equivalency;

complete a 75-hour/150 hour prelicensure

education at a licensed school (Experience Report for

Broker Application form); For

Broker’s License-employed

full-time 3 years immediately before application; take and pass

the course (Experience Report

filled out and signed-Real

Estate Commission verification and issuance of Exam Eligibility for the Broker’s Exam);

Pass the PSI License Exam;

Complete and pass the

Fingerprinting Process;

Have the Commission be

satisfied as to the applicant’s honesty, trustworthiness,

character, and integrity *If a

person has ever been convicted of a crime, or is currently on

parole or probation, their

application for a real estate

license may be denied. (N.J.S.A. 45:15-9, 45:15-12.1); Apply for a license through a New Jersey Licensed

Sponsoring Real Estate Broker (For Real Estate Salesperson); (for a Broker’s License-request issuance

as a Broker or a Broker-

Salesperson) and pay the
